I have two conflicting events. GeekUp (where I’m really excited to talk about impact of metaphors on how we behave in human systems. I find all that “words create worlds” stuff terribly interesting). OR the Adult Improvers Class at The Climbing Works (where I’m really excited to learn how to improve my technique, and see if climbing at the gym has helped at all). Choices choices.
I can’t do both. I did try and work out a way but it involved bending the laws of space-time and not sure I’d be able to ever rejoin this dimension. I guess GeekUp only happens once a month, while the Adult Improvers Class is every week. Besides, SYSTEMS METAPHORS! I mean, come on… That is philosophical/sociological/organisational/technological geek catnip right there.
Think I’ve just made up my mind. Geek Girl 1: Warrior Princess 0
